Class 13 – Downward Dog

Beginner and Intermediate levels

This is a tutorial in Downward Dog which includes a number of alignment tips I’ve picked up over the years, some from regional teachers and some from Yoga International tutors. I incorporated these into my teaching this week and two students fed back that it helped them move into their ‘best’ dogs ever. I hope you also feel the benefits.

You might want to complete your practice with some gentle winddown, breathing and relaxation, given in Class 2

I am a British Wheel of Yoga teacher in the North East of England. I set up this site for students who normally attend my yoga classes as an alternative way of practising during the pandemic. I have maintained an online class (on Mondays 17.45-19.15) and have resumed face-to-face teaching at Blue Flames Benton on Thursdays 17.45-19.15.
