This is the second video in the series on Shoulders and Neck. This time the postures are all done lying down, on a yoga mat or even on a bed, and are inspired, in part, as before by Martha Peterson’s (2011) somatics practices. The postures include: a constructive rest pose, focussed on centring and developing a relaxing breath; a side-lying thoracic rotation; the Martha Peterson inspired “Pulling on an imaginary rope”; and ‘Voguing’ (yes, after Madonna!) with the arms.
